Brigham Ranks No. 6 on Commonwealth Institute's Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts

Brigham Health was named one of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts in 2020 by The Commonwealth Institute (TCI), earning sixth place, up from ninth last year, under the leadership of Brigham Health President Betsy Nabel, MD. Mass General Brigham was also honored on the list, ranking eighth under the leadership of MGB President and CEO Anne Klibanski, MD.

Their annual list, now on its 20th year, has been formulated in partnership with the Boston Globe Magazine for the past eight years to recognize the state’s most noteworthy companies and nonprofits helmed by women.

Rankings are determined by an organization's revenue or operating budget and other variables, including the number of full-time employees, workplace and management diversity, and innovative projects. This year’s list appeared in the magazine’s “Women and Power” edition on Nov. 6.

TCI is a nonprofit organization committed to elevating and encouraging businesswomen in leadership roles in Massachusetts and Florida.
