Tseng Receives 2021 AMWA Exceptional Mentor Award

Zoe Tseng, MD, FACP


Zoe Tseng, MD, FACP, of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Primary Care, was given the 2021 Exceptional Mentor Award from the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) for helping the next generation of providers develop their careers, supporting their interests and helping them to achieve their goals.

The Exceptional Mentor Award recognizes effective mentorship as one of the most important determinants of career success.

Tseng is an internist at the Brigham, co-chair of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American College of Physicians Health and Public Policy Committee and faculty advisor to the Division of General Internal Medicine Residency Social Justice and Advocacy Curriculum. She is a Program for Research, Innovations and Scholarship in Education (PRISE) Scholar, focusing her research on physician advocacy education.

The AMWA is the oldest multispecialty organization dedicated to advancing women in medicine and improving women’s health.
