Mahrokhian Wins Thomas H. Lee Award

Lilian Mahrokhian, MD, of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Primary Care, won the Thomas H. Lee Award for Excellence in Primary Care.

Named in honor of Thomas H. Lee, a primary care physician at the Phyllis Jen Center for Primary Care, the Thomas H. Lee Award is an annual honor recognizing primary care physicians at the Brigham who provide exceptional service and compassionate care to their patients. Each year, a physician who is widely recognized as an exemplary member in the field of primary care is designated the winner and thus awarded $10,000.  

Mahrokhian's research interests include women’s health and primary care, primary care of breast cancer survivors, and medicine and nutrition for healthy lifestyles.
