Trinh Named 2022 AUA Young Urologist of the Year

Quoc-Dien Trinh, MD, FACS, of the Division of Urological Surgery, was honored by the American Urological Association (AUA) as the 2022 Young Urologist of the Year for New England in recognition of his outstanding and ongoing mentorship of students, trainees and fellow early-career urologists, particularly as it relates to academic development and productivity.

The Young Urologist of the Year Award is presented annually to select early-career AUA members in recognition of their efforts and commitment to advancing the development of fellow young urologists.

Trinh serves as director of Ambulatory Clinical Operations for Urological Surgery, co-director of the Prostate Cancer Program for Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center and a core faculty member of the Center for Surgery and Public Health. His clinical practice and research have focused on improving health care inequity and cancer outcomes. He will be presented with the 2022 Young Urologist of the Year Award during the Young Urologists Forum program at the AUA 2022 Annual Meeting in New Orleans on May 14.

Founded in 1902, the AUA seeks to promote the highest standards of urological clinical care through education, research and the formulation of health care policy.
