Brigham Health Names New Vice President of Marketing

Lisa Badeau has joined Brigham Health as vice president of Marketing in the Office of Strategic Communication, effective Feb. 5, 2018. In this role, Badeau will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive branding, marketing and advertising plan to further position Brigham Health as a global leader in clinical care and research.

A creative, results-driven leader who values collaboration, Badeau brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing strategy, brand development, communication planning and analytics. She brings energy and passion to her work, with an enthusiasm that inspires and empowers her teams to be successful.

“Lisa’s talent and breadth of experience will provide us with fresh perspective and new approaches. She is what you would call a triple-threat, bringing extensive professional experience, exceptional interpersonal skills and a profound commitment to excellence,” said Erin McDonough, MBA, senior vice president and chief communication officer at Brigham Health.

Previously, Badeau served as the senior director of Marketing Communications, Content and Creative Services at Boston Children’s Hospital. She has also held leadership roles at several of Boston’s most prestigious marketing, advertising and consulting agencies, including Boathouse, Accenture, Hill Holliday and Arnold Worldwide. Badeau earned her bachelor’s degree in foreign languages at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Outside of work, Badeau is committed to giving back to her local community and professional field. She serves on the board of trustees for Crossroads, a Boston nonprofit youth development organization that empowers under-resourced youth to become economically independent citizens, socially responsible leaders, and emotionally connected adults. She is also a guest lecturer at Boston University and the Boston Ad Club.
