Our programs bring together the strengths of multidisciplinary teams of specialists from medicine, surgery and rehabilitation: pulmonologists specializing in critical care medicine, thoracic surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, rheumatologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, respiratory, and physical therapists—all dedicated to life-threatening lung disease. These specialists come together under one roof at The Lung Center for patient convenience and collaborative care. We work closely with physician researchers to develop promising diagnostic and treatment approaches, moving discoveries from the laboratory to direct patient care.
