Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare, progressive lung disease that mostly affects young women. It causes severe cystic destruction of the lungs, leading to shortness of breath, lung collapse and fatigue. Though LAM does not have a cure, amazing progress has been made in research and patient care. Learn more about Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM).

The Center for LAM Research and Clinical Care at The Lung Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s (BWH) provides comprehensive, specialized treatment and management of LAM, along with the most up-to-date research and access to clinical trials.
