Established through the generosity of Steven and Kathleen Haley, the Haley Nurse Scientist Program is a partnership between the Department of Nursing and the William F. Connell School of Nursing at Boston College. The program is designed to strengthen the holistic care provided to patients and families by advancing the development and translation of nursing science through research, and by creating opportunities for nurses to improve their clinical practice and knowledge of the research process.
The Haley Nurse Scientist Program funds clinical nurses at BWH to engage in scholarly activities, to lead clinical nursing research and to mentor clinical nurses in scholarly work.
