The Informatics & Clinical Systems Innovations Program provides leadership and advocates for clinical systems projects that support the work of the nurse at the point of care to promote patient and staff safety.
In creating an infrastructure that captures nursing’s unique contribution to patient and family care, this program also provides direction for, and management of, informatics and advanced clinical systems throughout the nursing department.
Program leadership collaborates with others across the organization to identify opportunities for quality, safety and work process improvement. Ongoing program initiatives include medication safety and Mass General Brigham electronic health record.
