Hospitalist Service

Hospital Medicine is a unique specialty composed of physicians leading, directing, and improving inpatient care with the patient at the center. The Hospitalist Service, established at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 1998, has expanded to include the medical consult service and four general medical teams, which include the PACE service. We also care for patients at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. The BWF Hospitalist Service is staffed by physicians and physician assistants, trained in internal medicine and other medical specialties.
