What to Expect During Your Virtual Visit
We'll schedule you for a same-day virtual visit (in most cases), which you can access from a laptop, tablet or mobile phone. During your appointment, you will speak with an experienced sports medicine practitioner over video who will:
Help you better understand your injury
Arrange important next steps on your path to recovery
Provide fast access to one of our world-class sports medicine physicians or surgeons, in many cases as soon as the next day (when necessary)
A trained sports medicine practitioner will provide a complete evaluation of your injury and help you understand its urgency and severity. We will offer you quick and convenient guidance for appropriate next steps, which can range from icing, observation and rest, to prescribing medication or ordering appropriate x-rays or an MRI, to getting expedited appointments with one of our sports medicine physicians.
Advantages to Sports Medicine Virtual Visits:
Night and weekend access to sports medicine specialists
