The Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA) work stoppage is impacting Brigham and Women's Hospital. The hospital is open and we will continue to ensure high-quality, safe patient care for the five-day work stoppage. You may notice heavier traffic near the main campus due to picketing, so please consider allowing extra time when traveling to and from appointments. Learn more

For Psychiatry Patients and Families

We understand that it is not enough to treat a psychiatric disease or condition without also considering all aspects of our patients’ lives. At the Department of Psychiatry, we integrate the needs and preferences of patients and their caregivers directly into our care plans. We are dedicated to a patient- and family-centered philosophy that focuses on communication, comfort, and convenience. Our psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers collaborate with primary care and medical specialists to provide coordinated care for patients with psychiatric illnesses.
