Adaptive Radiation Technology Program

At Brigham and Women’s Hospital, our revolutionary cancer treatment delivery systems provide highly advanced, precise and personalized care for patients with cancer. By harnessing the power of adaptive technology, we are able to adjust radiation treatment plans in real time taking into account the any changes in your anatomy.

As you go through treatment, your anatomy can change, tumors can shrink, and healthy tissues and organs can move and shift in relation to your tumor’s location. Our technology adapts to these changes during treatment, which means we’re effectively treating the tumor while being careful to minimize radiation to healthy, surrounding tissue.
