Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

The BWH Department of Radiology provides MRI services at the hospital main campus and at community-based locations throughout southeastern Massachusetts. Across this network, our technologists and radiologists use state-of-the-art MRI scanners to produce high-quality images while focusing on patient safety and comfort.

Your doctor can select the BWH location that is closest to you or that offers the earliest available appointment. All of these locations offer an MRI scanner with a wide bore design to accommodate patients who are claustrophobic.
