B-PREP Patient Forum

The Breast Cancer Personalized Risk Assessment, Education and Prevention (B-PREP) patient forum is for women who are interested in learning more about the genetic and lifestyle factors that contribute to the risk of developing breast cancer.

Led by breast cancer specialists from the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center (DF/BWCC), this free educational event is held annually. On this page, you can access video footage and content from previous forums to gain a better understanding of your breast cancer risk and learn about options and strategies to reduce your risk.

2021 Patient Forum

The 4th annual B-PREP Patient Forum is being held virtually on Saturday, September 25 from 9 am - 12 noon. Specialists from Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center will present a wide range of educational topics, as well as a healthy recipe demonstration and mindfulness relaxation techniques. 2020 Patient Forum

The 3rd annual B-PREP Patient Forum was held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 9 am to 12 noon. Specialists from the Dana-Farber/Brigham Cancer Center covered a wide range of educational topics, including risk reducing options, exercise as prevention, and genetic testing. 2019 Patient Forum

The 2019 B-PREP Patient Forum featured a full day of educational sessions with a wide range of topics, including traditional and emerging risk factors for breast cancer, and how to lower your risk, from lifestyle changes to medical and surgical options.
