Chin Surgery

If a protruding or undersized chin has caused you to desire a change in your appearance, chin implants or reshaping may be exactly what you need. While a weak chin can make an otherwise normal face appear pointy or out of proportion, a chin that’s too prominent may give the appearance of having too small a nose or other facial features. With chin implants or reshaping, we can help put your face back into its natural balance.

Chin surgery is also known as mentoplasty.

Is This a Good Option For You?

Surgery to change the shape of your chin may be a good option if:

  • Your facial growth is complete and you are 13 years of age or older
  • You are physically healthy
  • You do not smoke
  • You have specific, but realistic goals in mind for the improvement of your appearance
