The urology residency program at Brigham and Women's Hospital offers two sub-internships in urology for third- and fourth-year medical students, as well as students coming from medical schools abroad:
- Diseases of the Genitourinary Tract (Course Number: SU518M.23a)
- Urologic Oncology (Course Number: SU518M.23b)
Students will be welcomed to our division by our faculty, residents and fellows for a four-week rotation. During their time with us they will assist in surgeries and participate in weekly conferences with our trainees. Based on their interests, they will be assigned a mentor. For more information on our residency program, please visit our urology residency page.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be offering a virtual/remote rotation experience for the months of June and July 2021. The status of in-person rotations after July is unknown, as we are awaiting HMS guidelines on the matter. If in-person rotations are not offered for August and September, we will change it to a virtual experience. Enrollment will be on a first come, first served basis. Please contact Rachele Rosiello at rrosiello@bwh.harvard.edu to discuss availability.
