Women’s Urologic Health

The Division of Urology at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) offers a female-focused program dedicated to the special needs of women experiencing urinary issues. Whether the concern has been caused by childbirth, pelvic surgery, a structural anomaly or infection, our urologic surgeons will determine the cause of the problem and develop the optimal treatment plan.

Our board-certified urologic surgeons are specially trained in disorders of the female urinary tract. We understand the physical and emotional toll that urologic problems can cause women and are dedicated to easing patient discomfort while relieving symptoms and worry. Our safe and accurate diagnostic methods include cystoscopy and urodynamic testing and proven treatment methods ranging from medication and bladder training to biofeedback, electrical stimulation and minimally invasive surgery.
