About the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery

Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) Heart and Vascular Center provides expert care for patients with a range of vascular conditions, from the more common to the rare and complex.

Our board certified surgeons collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, all experts in vascular disease, to provide you with individualized, innovative and proven treatment options. We have particular expertise in endovascular techniques—minimally invasive approaches that use tiny incisions and offer a quicker recovery.

We diagnose and treat a large volume of patients with peripheral vascular disease, carotid artery disease, aneurysms and more. This extensive surgical experience translates to better outcomes for our patients. Under the leadership of, Michael Belkin, MD, our surgeons are making great strides in improving vascular health: conducting groundbreaking research and clinical trials, developing exciting new surgical methods and training the next generation of surgeons through our fellowship program.
