The Center for Transgender Health mission is to:

Reduce health care disparities in the transgender/transgender and gender diverse (TGD) population. This includes cultural competency and access to care across the Mass General Brigham system.
Train the next generation of health care leaders to address the critical shortage of clinicians with expertise in gender-affirming care. As a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, we are committed to expanding the field of transgender care.
Conduct the clinical, basic, and translational research that fills the knowledge gaps in gender-affirming care.
