Lalita Khaodhiar, MD (BWFH)

Dr. Khaodhiar attended medical school in her native Thailand at Mahidol University. She then moved to the United States and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Hawaii. After residency, Dr. Khaodhiar completed fellowships in Endocrine, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and in Clinical Nutrition at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. After her fellowship she spent nine and a half years at the Nutrition and Weight Management Center at Boston Medical Center where she worked as a nutrition physician specialist. She is certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Dr. Khaodhiar recently joined Brigham and Women’s Health Care as part of the expansion of the Center for Weight Management and Metabolic Surgery.

Registered Dietitians

Meghan Ariagno, RD, LDN, CDE (BWH)
Meghan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences. She completed her dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. Prior to joining our bariatric program, she worked for four years at the Weight and Wellness Center, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Meghan has been involved in the Massachusetts Dietetic Association and the Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. For the past four years, Meghan has been a speaker at the Bariatric Summit, discussing a variety of topics related to nutrition care after weight loss surgery.

Giuseppina (Pina) Boatwright, MS, RD, LDN, CHES, RYT (BWFH)
Pina is a graduate of Simmons College where she earned her bachelor’s of science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She also holds a master’s of science degree in International Healthcare Management, Economics and Policy from L’Universita Bocconi in Milan, Italy. Most recently, she worked as a Bariatric Dietitian at Stanford in Palo Alto, California, and in private practice serving adults and adolescents with eating disorders. She also worked for many years as a Health Educator/Facilitator for the Medical Weight Management program at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California. Boatwright is a board certified health education specialist (CHES), a registered yoga instructor and a former triathlete. At BWFH, where Boatwright completed her dietetic clinical rotations, she joins the staff of the Center for Weight Management and Metabolic Surgery. In this role she will offer one-on-one nutrition counseling sessions and weekly group classes.
