Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center is a community health center licensed by Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). Located on 640 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, it provides comprehensive medical and behavioral health care as well as wellness services for more than 10,000 adult and pediatric patients each year.
Our primary care physicians care for patients of all ages —from infants to seniors—in the areas of adult medicine, pediatric medicine, family medicine, women’s health, mental health and family planning. Most of our physicians and staff members are bilingual in Spanish as well as other languages, facilitating communication with patients and families.
Because we are part of the BWH network, our patients have access to the full spectrum of services available at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, including podiatry, cardiology, nephrology, nutrition, gynecology and midwifery. We also offer psychotherapy and psychopharmacology services.
Our Health Promotion Center offers numerous programs for youth and adults including karate, Zumba and cooking classes. We provide expertise on the topic of racial justice and health equity, training professionals throughout the Boston community.
