Neurosurgical Spine Service

Experts in Diagnosing and Treating Spinal Disorders

The Neurosurgical Spine Service at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care for our patients. Our team of surgeons, physician assistants and nurse practitioners work with colleagues in physical medicine, neurology, pain management, and other specialties to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of spinal disorders, ranging from herniated discs to complex spinal reconstruction for tumors and deformity.

If surgery is required, we can call on our expertise in a wide range of surgical procedures, including:

  • Minimally invasive spine surgery
  • Arthroplasty (motion-preserving surgery) for joint reconstruction or replacement
  • Complex spinal reconstruction
  • Removal of spinal cord tumors

We offer appointments at five locations:

  • Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA
  • Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA
  • Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center in Foxborough, MA
  • Brigham and Women's Neurosurgery of South Weymouth, MA
