Applicants must register on the D&D Digital Web site and submit their prioritized list of selected dietetic internships online to D&D Digital before February 15, 2020. There is a $55 matching fee. Applicants should call D&D Digital prior to the deadline if they do not receive an e-mail with login information. Notification Day will be on Sunday, April 5, 2020.
Once an applicant is matched to the BWH Internship, they must call 617-732-5593 to confirm acceptance by the following Monday. At this time, the individual can state their preferred start date. Start dates are based on a first-come, first serve basis.
The program dates for the Internship Class of 2020-2021 are:
August entry: 8/04/20 - 6/26/21
October entry: 10/06/20 - 8/21/21
Please note that the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) Completion Date on the final Verification Statement must be prior to the entry date. If the DPD completion date is August 6, 2020 or later, only the October entry date would be feasible.
Once an applicant is matched and a start date is determined, BWH will contact the applicant to start the on boarding process. Our dietetic interns are subject to the same screening process as other hospital staff or trainees (such as verification of identity, background checks and medical documentation).
Please note that all application materials become the property of Brigham and Women's Hospital and cannot be returned.
Dietetic Intern Tours
We strongly recommend you visit Brigham and Women’s Hospital for a tour. This will give you an opportunity to meet and talk with our staff and interns to help determine if our program is right for you. We would be happy to register you for a tour, which are held every Friday at 2PM from November through January (with the exception of some holiday dates).
