Third Thursdays for New Nurses

Each month on the Third Thursday of the month from 4-7PM new to practice nurses are invited and encouraged to participate in a group meeting where they are provided the opportunity to socialize with other nurses at the same level of practice development.   Each month a topic of interest is presented, case studies are reviewed and new nurses are given the opportunity to share the experiences they are having as they begin their practice here at the BWH.  This session is a response to the evidence in the nursing literature that highlights the importance of socializing the new nurse to their professional role.
