Nuestra Generación/Our Generation is a patient driven initiative focused on the improvement of both the physical and emotional well being of referred individuals. In addition to targeting patients at least 60 years of age, prior to enrollment, patients must be appropriately screened to determine continued eligibility. In addition to a weekly commitment to Our Generation's social luncheon, participants willingly attend other Health Promotion Center initiatives, such as Yoga, Thai Chi, Matter of Balance, Senior Fitness, nutrition based and chronic health management programming.

Comunidad en Acción
Comunidad en Acción seeks to address the needs of our patients in their goals of weight loss by providing a safe, fun, and culturally appropriate program that encourages group support and emphasizes working with patients at whatever stage of change they are in. Change is hard, but it is not impossible with the right kind of support.
Comunidad en Acción will not only provide Zumba/Salsa instruction, yoga classes, Weight Watchers, and monthly health-related seminars, but will also work with patients who might have extra barriers to attending classes such as transportation and childcare.
