Baked Apples with Oats

Ingredients

  • 4 medium size apples (Granny Smith or Cortland)
  • 4 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 8 Tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • 4 Tbsp chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Core each apple
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl
  3. Put ¼ of mixture in each cored apple
  4. Bake at 25 – 30 minutes in 350 degree oven

Serves: 4
Serving size: 1 apple
