Heart Healthy Turkey Gravy

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups low fat chicken broth (or turkey drippings or broth)
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp white pepper

Directions

  1. Mix together all of the ingredients in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened and smooth, stirring constantly.
  2. Continue to cook for another 2 minutes, over low heat.

Yield: 12 servings
