Reconstructive Body Surgery

Reconstructive surgery is typically performed on areas of the body that are damaged or abnormal caused by trauma, disease, infections, birth or growth defects and other causes.

Our plastic and reconstructive surgeons are experts in a wide range of procedures in the field of reconstructive plastic surgery. All our surgeons are faculty members of Harvard Medical School and undergo extensive training and credentialing procedures.

They collaborate with other specialists at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as well as at Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center. They work closely with each patient to address his or her individual needs. While they aim to improve function, they also place high emphasis on restoring optimal appearance.
