Additionally, Brookside is dedicated to being an active member of the local community in Jamaica Plain and the surrounding areas.
Mimi joined Brookside in 2013 as the manager for Quality, Compliance and Special Projects. She was hired into the role of Executive Director in 2015. She has 18 years of healthcare and public health experience and is a family nurse practitioner. She works collaboratively with her leadership team and strives to provide high quality care through continuous improvement efforts across Brookside.
Administrative Director of Patient Support and Operations
Prior to joining Brookside Community Health Center, Claudia served as the Director of Operations at Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center (HSNHC). During her nine years of service, Claudia served in different capacities, broadening her scope as a healthcare administrator. As Director of Operations she oversaw daily operations of the health center by directing, and coordinating the various activities in support of the clinical and dental practices, as well as other service centers.
Pam came to Brookside as the Nursing Director in 2013. She has a strong background in emergency medicine and over six years of management experience from working as the Nurse Manager in the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Emergency Department. Pam works closely with all members of the medical department at Brookside.
Dr. Daya has a strong interest in working with underserved populations, practice transformation as well as harnessing the power of the electronic medical record to help enhance the care that we provide out patients. She provides care for both pediatric and adult patients here at Brookside.
Maria is a Registered Dietitian as well as a licensed Nutritionist in the state of Massachusetts. Maria has worked in community nutrition and public health in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. In New York, she worked as a Public Health Nutritionist and was responsible for community nutrition services throughout the 5 boroughs.
Dr. Morales, born in Colombia, went to the University of St. Thomas of Aquino and graduated in general dentistry in 1988. She then attended the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she received her D.M.D in 1997. Soon after, she started her career in dentistry at Brookside in the fall of 1997. Dr. Morales was appointed as the Dental Director in 2013.
Dental and Family Services Practice Manager
Prior to becoming part of Brookside Team, Manuela worked in a non-profit organization, Children’s Services of Roxbury, assisting homeless families in the Boston area for 14 years. The different roles Manuela played during those years as a Case Coordinator, Lead Coordinator, Supervisor, Assistant Director, and as Director of the Housing and Stabilization Program, provided her with the essential skills and knowledge to lead, coach, and motivate others.
